Spike and Serve Philippines hosts a volley camp for underprivileged youth!

In line with the mission of building community through sports, Spike and Serve Philippines held a volley camp for underprivileged youth in the Bicol region of Virac, Catanduanes.

The event was held in partnership with the Provincial Government of Catanduanes through the office of the Vice Governor.

The four-day camp aimed to educate and conduct a simultaneous training sessions for the 60 student-athletes aged 8-19 years old together with the 25 teacher-coaches aged 25-50 years old about the sport including the basic skills, playing techniques and points that they must always remember while inside the court that they can use in their upcoming regional athletic competition.

During the four-day volleyball camp, the participants were taught the correct volleyball technique, as well as the culture of patience and value of discipline and sportsmanship.
