Funshop 2019 confirmed with new partner in South Korea: the Lee Seung-Yuop Foundation

In 2019, UNESCO, together with the Lee Seung Yuop Baseball Foundation in South Korea, will host the second Sport & the SDGs Youth Funshop in Seoul. The Funshop will bring together 60 youth leaders from around Asia-Pacific who are using sport as a tool for positive social change in their communities for a 3-day capacity-building event aligned with the United Nations Agenda 2030 and UNESCO's Kazan Action Plan.

The exact date of the event will be confirmed very soon.

In December, the agreement was signed at UNESCO HQ in Paris between Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences, Nada Al-Nashif and international baseball star, Lee Seung-Yuop.
