GGG Sports Camp in the Philippines for the most vulnerable!!
Girls Got Game Philippines held its 17th sports camp between Dec 8-9th, 2018 at the University of Nueva Caceres, Naga City, Bicol.
More than one hundred pre-teen girls from Naga's Least Economic Resilient Communities played basketball, volleyball, and football together. The event was led by the GGG core team, 70 local volunteers from the school and the local government unit of Naga. GGG's 2-day camp, exclusively for young Filipinas, was the first of its kind in the Bicol region.
On its 4th year since its founding in 2015, GGG continues to serve low-income communities throughout the Philippines, igniting the passion for sports and instilling values such as respect, discipline, teamwork, integrity, and perseverance.
Girls Got Game (GGG) Philippines, is a non-profit organization that empowers young women through sports. Michiko Soriano is our Task Force member representing GGG.
