Human Trafficking Prevention Class receives grant from the Vietnam Red Cross Society!
The Human Trafficking and Forced Labour Prevention Class, founded by TF Member Viet Nguyen and his co-founder Minh Anh of the 2030 Youth Force in Viet Nam, has received a generous grant from AVIVA and the Vietnam Red Cross Society.
The class seeks to educate girls and boys in remote areas of Viet Nam on human trafficking and forced labour, including awareness of the ways in which youth can be lured into trafficking rings. The class teaches martial arts and self defence as well as other sports to build team-work and facilitate the learning experience.
The grant is a great step for the two co-founders to develop our project further!
Here are some pics from the first class in remote Northern Viet Nam, an area prone to trafficking.
