OUR YOUTH MEMBERS
In November 2017, 22 Southeast Asian youth representing 10 countries, were selected among hundreds of applicants to attend the UNESCO Sport & the SDGs Youth Funshop in Manila, Philippines. The result was the creation of the Asia-Pacific Youth and Sport Task Force.
Across Asia and the Pacific, hundreds are engaged through the different Task Force programmes, using a variety of different techniques and targeting diverse SDGs.
In September 2019, the Task Force grew to 60 youth members representing 28 Asia-Pacific countries.
In 2020, the Task Force plans to become global.
