MEASURING OUR IMPACT AND ALIGNING WITH FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
Facilitated by Kevina Maddick, the Acting Country Director of the international Non-Government Organization, Right to Play, this session addressed the practical aspects of designing a monitoring and evaluation framework, how to judge its effectiveness and how it can be best communicated to potential partners and donors using evidence.
The session focused on designing a theory of change, identifying priorities and developing a framework that makes sense for the specific organizations. The youth participants were also introduced to participatory approaches to M&E involving beneficiaries.
The desired outcomes for the session were that the participants are familiar with a basic M&E framework against the SDGs and have an understanding of how funding streams work and which aspects of the programmes are the most marketable to sponsors.
